Journey of the Phoenix Counseling was founded to bring a warm, personal approach to mental health care. For years, I saw clients receiving support in ways that felt cold and impersonal. While that worked for some, others needed something deeper, someone to truly walk beside them through life’s challenges.

I’ve also faced my own difficult seasons, which taught me the power of compassion, connection, and hope. I wanted to create a place where people could feel understood, supported, and encouraged to rise above life’s challenges—just like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

In 2025, we moved into our new counseling office at 1925 N 25th Street, Waco, TX. Today, we welcome clients in person here in Waco and provide telehealth counseling to individuals anywhere in Texas. Whether you’re nearby or hundreds of miles away, you can receive the same caring, professional support from the comfort of your own space.
